A good first visit begins with the right expectation: this is a café and a home for animals, not a timed cat attraction. Siamese Cat Café is in Bang Kaeo, near Mega Bangna, and the cat area has no entrance fee. Order what you like, settle in and allow the cats to decide how social they feel.
Before you leave
The café currently opens daily from 08:00 to 21:00. Traffic around Bangna can change quickly, so open the map before travelling rather than navigating only to “Bangna.” The full address is House 46/26, Moo 8, Bangna–Trat Road, Bang Kaeo, Bang Phli, Samut Prakan 10540.
The menu is more than coffee and cake. It includes Vietnamese dishes such as phở and bánh mì, Thai and Western food, signature coffee, waffles and desserts. Looking at the menu first is useful if your visit includes breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Give the cats time to choose
Some cats may greet you; others may stay on a tower or return to a quiet room. Please do not chase, wake or lift a sleeping cat, and avoid flash photography. Clean hands before and after entering the cat area. Children are welcome with close adult supervision.
The cats normally have private meal and rest periods from 12:00–13:00 and 17:00–18:00. A favourite cat may also take a day away from visitors. That is part of the café’s welfare-first approach, not a failed visit.
Food for people, treats for cats
Outside pet food is not allowed. Cat-safe treats may be available from the counter; offer them gently and avoid overfeeding. For yourself, choose from the regular menu and enjoy the café at an unhurried pace.
The simplest plan
That small amount of planning makes the visit calmer for everyone.
- Check the current opening information and map.
- Choose a meal or drink from the menu.
- Arrive outside the cats’ private meal periods if interaction is important to you.
- Let the cats approach, and leave them room to rest.
